Elder Hammonds is an Associate Minister in Columbus, Ohio. He is married to St. Myrna Hammonds and they have six children; Marvin, Daniel, Keith, Jewell, Esther, and Myra. They also have 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Elder Hammonds attented Connelly Vocational High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and studied carpentry.
