Your Identity In Christ - 9 things God Says of You
Sometimes in our lives, we run into turbulent days; there may be a hardship, failure, or loss. Challenging situations can bring about self-doubt and negative thoughts. Sometimes those negative thoughts can cause us to overlook some very significant things…mainly just who we are. More importantly, who we are in Christ.
Every now and then we need a reminder. It may be a person or a thing…whatever it is, it’s something that reaffirms God’s word about you. In times when you need validation, someone or something lets you know you are worthy and it allows you to see yourself as God sees you.
Thankfully the word clearly shows us how God sees us. When you need a reminder, I hope that these verses will speak to you and uplift your spirit.
You Are Wonderfully Made ~

You Are Chosen ~
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love. Ephesians 1:4
You Are Guarded ~

You Are Blessed ~
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:32
You Are Never Alone ~
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8
You Are Secure ~

At times we may experience situations that leave us feeling insufficient, even disliked and thrown away. These encounters shake us deeply and make us question ourselves. Words spoken can cut deeply and wound our spirit.
Even on days when we encounter discouragement and deal with circumstances and feelings that change, we have to remember that our identity is fixed by God; our identity in Christ will never change.
There’s a song by Lauren Daigle, “You Say” that really shares how God sees us even when we feel we don’t measure up. This song caught my attention the first time I heard it. Listen to the lyrics and…Be encouraged!
