Elder Howard Hubbard was born in Middletown, CT and spent much of his youth in the New England region. There he attended Southwestern College. The elder married St. Rosemary Hubbard with whom he shares six children (Shawn, Tanya, Howard, Danika, Brandi, and Cheyanne) and many grandchildren.
In 1971, Elder Hubbard joined the Church of God and Saints of Christ and was a stalwart supporter of the gospel ministry in New Haven, CT and Seaford, Delaware for many years. After moving to Phoenix, Arizona with his family, he was called upon by Bishop Robert H. Stallings, SR to establish a work for the Lord. Elder Hubbard opened a tabernacle and was overseer for two years before being officially ordained to the ministry at the Feast of the Lord’s Passover in 2007.
The elder feels that his spiritual gift is faith and through that faith he will pursue many areas of ministry, including prison outreach, bible study, counseling, mentoring youth and feeding the needy. His life is shaped by his favorite scriptural reference, St. Matthew 5:16, which states, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
An avid bowler, golfer, and outdoorsman, Elder Hubbard believes in living life to the fullest in honor of the Almighty.
